Consider a consultation if you have symptoms like these
- Bumpy skin tags or flat warts on your face and neck are increasing
- Small, grain-like milia have appeared around your eyes
- Moles, blemishes, or age spots bother you
- Your skin feels dry and less firm
- Your skin texture is rough, so makeup does not go on well
- When fatigue builds up, your skin condition drops too
They may look alike, but causes and treatments differ
Lesions that look similar, such as skin tags and flat warts, differ in cause, treatment, and likelihood of recurrence. Skin condition is also often linked to fatigue, sleep, and digestion.
At Woorimbon Korean Medicine Clinic, we first check the type and size of the lesion and your skin condition, then choose what you need from laser treatment, skin boosters, and placenta pharmacopuncture. If needed, we also look after your overall condition with herbal medicine suited to your body constitution.

How we treat it at Woorimbon
Depending on your condition, we choose what you need from the treatments below and combine them.

- 03
Placenta pharmacopuncture
Pharmacopuncture solution extracted from placenta helps support skin condition and recovery from fatigue.

Please read before treatment
- Redness, scabbing, or temporary pigmentation may occur after laser treatment. Red marks may remain for about 3–6 months, and recovery time varies from person to person.
- Swelling, bruising, or temporary pain may occur where skin boosters or pharmacopuncture are applied.
- Depending on the type and depth of the lesion, several treatments may be needed, or the lesion may come back.
- For moles that change in shape or color, or lesions that bleed or grow quickly, we recommend an examination by a dermatologist first.
- If you are pregnant, prone to keloids, or have a skin condition, be sure to tell us before the procedure.
Frequently asked questions
QHow are skin tags and flat warts different?
A skin tag is a benign lesion where a small piece of skin hangs out, while a flat wart is a flat growth caused by a viral infection. Because the causes differ, so do the treatment and likelihood of recurrence, so we tell them apart after an examination.
QCan I go back to daily life right after laser treatment?
In most cases, yes. You may shower, but please avoid saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), and strenuous exercise for 7 days. While scabs are forming, avoid sunlight and take care not to rub the treated area.
QHow should I care for my skin after laser treatment?
On the day of treatment, wash your face gently, and keep the healing tape (DuoDERM) we applied on for about 7–10 days. On days 1–3, limit contact with water and carefully block UV rays with a hat, sunglasses, a parasol, and sunscreen. From day 3 to around week 2, change the tape to keep the area moist, and if it oozes, change the tape instead of wiping it. Do not pick off scabs; after they fall off, focus on moisturizing. Light makeup is fine.
QHow much does it cost?
It depends on the number and size of the lesions and the type of treatment. We tell you the cost before the procedure, and you can also check it on the fees page.
